Over the last six years, Jocelyn has worked diligently to sow roots in her community through ministry, presence, and service. She shares about Jesus and the way of Jesus through networking, voice, service, and mentorship.
You may find her walking to and from the library, facing the sunshine, filling out a calendar/schedule book, or in the midst of a community project.
She enjoyed her first vocational ministry years engaging primarily with families and kids of the emerging generation. This time with teens, children, and the people that love them allowed her to see the light of the world present among us—and to hear clearly from the Lord about the creative ingenuity of Godly expression on earth. Her passion to engage alongside the emerging-generation derives from this season and draws into this next role as a pastor of mission for Follow Church.
In this season, she expects an expression from God to illuminate the shadows of injustice in her community and to expand the reach of Christ’s love in surrendered faith communities. Relationship building, presence in community, ongoing learning, transparent leadership, and faith engagement make up Jocelyn’s operational principles and strategies as a minister.
